There is nothing to get,it is horrible, sloppy, mistake filled garbage played by people going through the motions. The vocals are painful, Smokestack and Cryptical are so bad as to be unprofessional, and with Healy's manipulations it becomes somewhat comical. How this pathetic performance could be compared to the band in their prime is puzzling.
I'm not looking to pick a fight with anyone who disagrees with my feelings on this,I am neither delusional nor biased,I understand that the band was never perfect, but to compare the post-hiatus version of the band to the earlier years seems pointless.I can't see how anyone could think that anything they played post 74' could rival say,7/18/72,12/6/73 or 9/18/74 as just a few examples, but I have come to learn that debating it is a genuine waste of time.

I tried listening to this show and couldnt stick with it. After checking out several different tracks, I honestly could not find a single passage that I felt was compelling. I attended a number of shows from this tour (none of which I consider to be any better than mediocre at best) and I cant imagine how anyone can think this is good music...

It is impossible for me to dismiss these shows, as this summer is one mighty fine memory for me. Oddly enough, we can’t say ‘you just had to be there, man!’ to validate the musicianship. I know some of the things I like the best about it are things many dislike the most.
Either way Jerry’s guitar is always what comes through in the end for me.
I am delving deeper by the day into what is here, keep on growing my knowing.
But I sure hope the day doesn’t come when I don’t enjoy revisiting ‘my’ shows.
I am listening to Blossom for the third time today, and still loving it!

That darned Blossom burned my hand. Put it on last night while cooking and was enjoying it so much I got distracted and, splash! Nasty burn. Bad bad '85.

I think we should all invite ourselves onto that fishing trip. Only it should be near Tidewater's place in Thailand, so I can go too, and so there won't be any worries about violating anti-pollution ordinances when folks start shouting and tossing CDs into the ocean.
